Something for Everyone

At Drybeck

Although we have the Lake District and the North Pennines on our doorstep, there is much to do in and around Drybeck. You could simply relax by the river or take a stroll through the woods. There are also ideal spots along the local section of the river for wild swimming.

The Eden Valley is a great cycling venue, with many miles of quiet lanes and byways. If you require, we can arrange cycle hire and suggest routes. There are also plenty of walking routes, whether down the river towards Wetheral or upstream to Armathwaite. and the ancient rock carvings can be found in the Eden Gorge, Coombe Woods, or around High Stand.

At the end of the day, why not relax under the stars in our hot-tub? Alternatively, you can enjoy the village and a pint in one or both of our pubs, or just sit back and watch the local wildlife.
